Our journey begins deep in Kentucky, where 100% used bourbon barrel heads are salvaged from distilleries with rich histories in American whiskey making. These aren't mass-produced planks; they’re tongue-and-groove constructed oak barrel tops once entrusted to age bourbon. Every char mark and wood grain carries the spirit of time, fire, and flavor.
After recovery, we disassemble each barrel head, meticulously clean out the charcoal, and reassemble with glue to ensure structural integrity. Then, we press them for a minimum of one month, allowing the glue to cure and the board to stay flat—an essential detail for high-quality craftsmanship.
🎨 Engraved Gifts with Character
No two boards are alike. Those featuring original bourbon stamps are preserved with numerous coats of food-safe shellac, sealing in history while protecting the surface. The unstamped heads become blank canvases for custom engravings—wedding monograms, man cave signs, event décor, or personalized keepsakes.
